AI Handshake Video Generator
A firm, professional handshake with a smile and a nod — the deal-done look.
A real, unedited output of this effect — two single photos in, a five-second handshake out.
What Is an AI Handshake Video Generator?
An AI handshake video generator takes a photo of two people and produces a short video in which they turn toward each other, reach out and shake hands, with faces, clothes and background carried over from the photo. You can start from one photo that already has both people in it, or upload one photo of each person and let the tool join them side by side first.
It exists because a handshake is the universal 'we agreed' shot — the partnership announcement, the new-hire welcome, the friendly bet settled — and almost nobody has that photo when they need it. This page gives you four handshake styles, a real credit price on the button, and the prompt behind every clip in the open.
How to Make an AI Handshake Video
One photo of two people — or one of each
Drop a photo that already shows both people, or fill both slots with a single-person photo each and we merge them side by side before generating. JPG, PNG and WebP all work.
Pick a handshake style
Tap Business Deal for the firm professional shake, Friendly Greeting for the warm one with a shoulder pat, Epic Slow-Mo for movie-trailer drama, or Secret Handshake for the funny routine. The text box stays empty — add a setting only if you want one.
Generate and share
Hit Generate and the AI handshake video generator renders a five-second clip. The credit price sits on the button before you spend anything, failed renders are refunded, and the download carries no watermark.
Four Handshake Styles
The same two people, shaking hands four ways. Each chip in the generator above maps to one of these.
Person 1
Person 2
Business Deal
Firm grip, eye contact, a nod — the partnership-announcement handshake.

Friendly Greeting
A warm shake with a pat on the shoulder and both of them laughing.

Epic Slow-Mo
Low angle, golden rim light, the camera pushing in — the movie-trailer handshake.

Secret Handshake
Slap, interlock, fist bump, point — an elaborate routine, both grinning.
Still frames are AI-generated illustrations of each style. Your clip depends on the photos and the model you choose.
See It Move
This clip is an unedited output of the same effect that powers this page: two single photos in — the man and the woman above, merged side by side — and five seconds of Business Deal handshake out. Notice how each person keeps their own face, suit and blazer while the arms reach across the seam.
The exact prompt behind this clip
The two people in the photo turn toward each other, step closer, extend their right hands and shake hands firmly like closing a business deal, smiling and nodding, calm professional energy, both people keep their exact faces, hairstyles and clothing, natural hand contact, realistic arm movement, the background stays consistent, smooth continuous motion
How to Shoot Two Photos That Shake Hands
One photo of both people is the easy path. If you only have separate photos, these four habits decide whether the AI handshake looks natural or awkward.
Face the middle
Person 1 should turn slightly to their right, Person 2 slightly to their left, so they end up facing each other once merged. Two people both facing straight at the camera can still shake hands, but the turn looks more natural.
Match the height
Frame both photos waist-up with the heads at roughly the same height. A big height mismatch makes the tool pick one scale for both and one person ends up floating.
Match the light
Similar brightness and a similar plain background hide the seam between the two photos. Indoor plus outdoor, or bright plus dim, and the merge shows.
Leave room for the arms
Keep the inside arm relaxed at the side and leave a little empty space on the inside edge of each photo — that is where the handshake happens.
Two Photos? How the Side-by-Side Merge Works
When you fill both slots, your browser joins the two photos into one frame — scaled to the same height, a thin seam between them — and that single frame is what the video model animates. Nothing is uploaded until you hit Generate.

One photo of both people
The simplest input: a photo where both people are already in the frame. The AI works from their real positions, so the handshake lands naturally.

One photo of each person
Two single-person photos are merged side by side on your device before generating. Shoot them with the tips above and the seam disappears in the clip.
The merge runs entirely in your browser. Only the final frame you choose to generate from is uploaded, and uploads are screened like every other input.
Write Your Own Handshake Prompt
The four styles cover most clips, and the text box under the photos accepts anything extra. Every handshake prompt that works is built from the same four parts.
The four-part formula
1.Who
Point at the pair: 'the two people in the photo'. If one should lead, say which — 'the man on the left extends his hand first'.
2.The shake
Name the style: firm business handshake, warm shake with a shoulder pat, slow-motion cinematic shake, playful secret handshake with a fist bump.
3.Mood & setting
One line for the feel and place: 'smiling and nodding, bright office lobby', 'laughing, casual cafe', 'dramatic golden light'.
4.Likeness guard
Close with 'both people keep their exact faces, hairstyles and clothing, natural hand contact, background stays consistent'. Our presets append this automatically.
Four prompts you can copy
Partnership announcement
The two people in the photo turn toward each other, step closer, extend their right hands and shake hands firmly like closing a business deal, smiling and nodding, bright office lobby, both people keep their exact faces, hairstyles and clothing, natural hand contact, smooth continuous motion
Welcome to the team
The two people in the photo shake hands warmly while the person on the left pats the other's shoulder, both laughing, relaxed and welcoming, casual office background, both people keep their exact faces and clothing, natural hand contact
Movie-trailer handshake
The two people in the photo turn toward each other and shake hands in dramatic slow motion, the camera slowly pushes in on the handshake, golden cinematic rim light, movie-trailer feel, both people keep their exact faces and clothing, background stays consistent
Best-friends secret handshake
The two people in the photo do a playful elaborate secret handshake: a hand slap, interlocked fingers, a fist bump and a finger point, both grinning, upbeat and funny, both people keep their exact faces and clothing, smooth continuous motion
Three mistakes that break the handshake
Skipping the likeness guard
Ask only for 'two people shaking hands' and the model may redraw a face or swap a jacket. Always say both people keep their exact faces and clothing.
Asking for the camera to move a lot
Big pans and orbits pull attention off the hands and stretch the seam between two merged photos. Keep the camera still, or use a slow push-in only.
Two people facing away from each other
If both photos face outward, the AI has to spin each person around first and the shake looks stiff. Shoot them facing the middle, or say 'they turn toward each other' in the text box.

Three video tiers cover the whole range, and the real credit price is shown on the Generate button before you spend anything.

Same effect in Studio
The AI handshake effect lives in our Studio too, with the full parameter set and every other video effect next to it.

Consent & What This Is Not
A handshake implies agreement, so the photos you use matter more here than in most effects.
Only people who agreed
Use photos of yourself, your team and people who know they are in the clip. Uploads are screened, and clips of strangers, public figures or minors are against our terms.
No celebrity handshakes
The tool will not stage a handshake with a famous person, a politician or a character you do not own — that is exactly the misleading use this effect should never enable.
Say it is AI when it matters
For a partnership post, a caption like 'made with AI' keeps the clip honest. It is a fun stand-in for the photo you did not take, not evidence of a meeting.
Your photos stay yours
Uploads and results live in your private gallery and can be deleted anytime. Nothing you make here is published unless you share it.
