Motion blur
Blur from fast movement is part of the frame. The sword swing in our street-fight clip was blurred in the original and stays blurred in 4K.
Warped faces and hands
If a generator drew six fingers or a melted face, the upscaler sharpens that mistake rather than repairing it. Fix the source first.
Burned-in text and heavy compression
Captions baked into the picture and large compression blocks get sharper edges, but small text rarely becomes readable again.
